Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about LearnTo and how our platform works.

What makes LearnTo different from YouTube or Udemy? +

Every LearnTo instructor is a practicing professional — they teach the exact skills they use in their daily work. We verify credentials and work experience before any lesson goes live. YouTube and Udemy have great volume, but most of it comes from full-time teachers or algorithm-optimized creators. LearnTo is vetted expertise only.

Are LearnTo lessons free to watch? +

Yes. You can browse and watch video lessons without signing up. We offer optional CEU credits for learners who need verifiable proof of completion for professional development.

How long is each lesson? +

Most lessons are 10-30 minutes — long enough to teach something real, short enough to fit into a lunch break. We optimize for actionability over duration.

What categories of skills can I learn? +

Currently we have lessons across Business, Fitness, Cooking, Tech, Travel, Nature, Photography, Music, and Audio categories. New lessons are added regularly as we onboard more vetted instructors.

Can I become an instructor? +

Yes, if you're a practicing professional with verifiable expertise. Apply via the Upload page. We review credentials (work history, certifications, portfolio) before approving any instructor.

How does LearnTo make money? +

We're currently free during our launch phase. As we grow, we'll introduce optional paid features (advanced certifications, instructor premium content) — but the core library will always have free, vetted lessons.
