Instructor Information: Instructors provide credentials, education history, and professional experience for verification purposes.

Usage Data: We collect anonymous analytics data such as page views, lesson interactions, and search queries to improve the Service.

Uploaded Content: When you upload a lesson, we store the video/audio file, thumbnail, title, description, and associated metadata.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the Service (authentication, lesson delivery, profiles)
  • To verify instructor credentials and maintain content quality
  • To improve our content recommendations and search results
  • To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
  • To monitor and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

LearnTo uses cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Analytics — understanding how the Service is used

4. Third-Party Services

LearnTo uses the following third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy:

  • Vercel — Website hosting and deployment. Serves the web application and collects anonymous analytics. Vercel Privacy Policy

We do not share your personal information directly with these services beyond what is necessary to operate the Service. Your data is processed in accordance with each provider's privacy practices.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:

  • Account information is removed within 30 days
  • Uploaded lesson content is removed within 30 days
  • Anonymous analytics data is retained indefinitely

Instructor credential data may be retained for verification records as required by applicable law.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion — Request deletion of your account and data
  • Portability — Request your data in a machine-readable format
  • Opt-out — Opt out of analytics and non-essential communications

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encrypted password storage (never stored in plain text)
  • HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit

No system is 100% secure. We will notify you of any data breach affecting your account in accordance with applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

LearnTo is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service or sending an email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
